My wordy summary of
"Hi My Sweetheart"



Episode 1: Xue Hai, a wealthy chap, pampered by his sister since young because his parents died early. To let not others be aware of his real identity and to prevent kidnapping cases, his sister registered him in the University as "Da Lang". (Da Lang somehow sounds friendlier and poor) Da Lang sees that Bao Zhu is always alone in the school and him being extremely innocent and friendly, tries to befriend Bao Zhu, a fierce woman on the outside but soft-hearted in the inside. But Da Lang always ended up bullied by her.



Episode 2: Da Lang finally had the chance of being a friend of Bao Zhu. Bao Zhu could not care less about the friendship because she thinks that in this world, there is no such thing called a true friend. Bao Zhu's mind was full of nonsensical ideas, she decided to forcefully "kiss" Da Lang so that she can agitate the girl that Da Lang admires.



Episode 3: After the kiss, Da Lang feels that he has a little feelings for Bao Zhu but little that he know that Bao Zhu was just using him as a tool. So when Bao Zhu's senior, Yan Feng appeared, Da Lang felt rather unhappy in fact he was upset...



Episode 4: Lo and behold, Da Lang confesses to Bao Zhu and finally... True love occurred in both their lives!!! They dated for close to three years and felt like they were the happiest couple living on planet earth.



Episode 5: Da Lang though a coward, decided to pluck up all his courage to propose to Bao Zhu. But on the day when he wanted to propose to Bao Zhu, she disappeared and left a note that she will only marry boys who are rich and she will never in her life fancy Da Lang because he was a poor chap. Bao Zhu did such a cruel act to Da Lang because of her materialistic mother. Da Lang knew nothing and was kept in the dark. All Da Lang knew was Bao Zhu left her and could not process the proposal anymore. He was absolutely upset and eventually threw the ring away. After the threw the ring away, he decided to take revenge upon Bao Zhu for abandoning him with just a note. He will do the same cruel act as how she did to him.



Episode 6: Da Lang felt cheated by Bao Zhu and it made him not to believe in love anymore. So he had a make over in Da Lang aka Xue Hai, a playboy to be exact. The name, "Da Lang" was thrown out of the window overnight. After three years, Bao Zhu and Xue Hai meets in a radio station. Bao Zhu was puzzled that why does Xue Hai resemble so much like Da Lang?! She didn't know that Xue Hai was actually Da Lang and vice versa.



Episode 7: Xue Hai carries out his revenge and attempts to woo Bao Zhu. Pinning Bao Zhu's senior, down down down! (Sidetrack, Yan Feng has been trying to woo Bao Zhu since a decade ago. Bao Zhu is aware but she pretends she doesn't know. Another reason is because she is still looking for Da Lang, who she thinks is her one and only true love.)



Episode 8: Xue Hai continues to woo Bao Zhu but she just dislikes how irritating Xue Hai is and tries to shoo him away whenever he pesters her. So... Bao Zhu is still as violent as before just like how they first met. Even though Xue Hai and Bao Zhu meet daily in the radio station (Employer and employee status), she is still unaware of Xue Hai's (Da Lang) true identity.



Episode 9: Xue Hai was an irritant in Bao Zhu's eyes. Bao Zhu and Yan Feng decided to go for an outing so that they can be free from Xue Hai for a while. Even though Xue Hai knows that Bao Zhu dislikes his existence but still tagged along. On the very same night, they both coincidentally got drunk. Xue Hai blabbered out that he was Da Lang and he dearly misses Bao Zhu. He also mentioned that he has been looking for her all along though outwardly he may look like a playboy but actually deep within he still loves Bao Zhu a lot. Bao Zhu was drunk and thought it was Da Lang beside her! She also blabbered that she was apologetic for abandoning him three years ago. So... They were both so drunk and they had no idea why they appeared to be in the same hotel room!

Suddenly, Yan Feng knocks on the door. To avoid misunderstandings and complications about why Xue Hai was in Bao Zhu's hotel room. Xue Hai had no choice but to hide in the bathroom. Yan Feng wanted to check if Bao Zhu was alright because she was drunk last night. So, she went to take shower while Xue Hai was still hiding in the bathroom. Ooopsy daisy!!! *Xue Hai's nose was bleeding profusely when Bao Zhu's towel accidentally fell to the floor* Days later, they tried to recall what they have blabbered when they were drunk. A pity that both of them couldn't recall.



Episode 10: Initially Xue Hai had in his mind was to take his revenge upon Bao Zhu. But he realised that after all she was the one that he truly loved. When the accident occurred, Xue Hai was utterly upset because he thought he was going to lose her. And realising in the end that Bao Zhu was actually the love of his life. But thankfully Bao Zhu was safe from the car accident in the end.



Episode 11: After everything that had happened. Bao Zhu realises that Da Lang has been feigning his identity all along. Xue Hai is the only existing human being. Bao Zhu was furious that Xue Hai had been lying to her all along. She was angry that Xue Hai knew that she was looking for Da Lang all along but he didn't breathe a single word to her. She felt utterly cheated and told Xue Hai to leave her alone and never pester her ever again.



Episode 12: Even though Bao Zhu told Xue Hai never to pester her again, he nevertheless still loitered at the lobby of the radio station because he thinks he owes Bao Zhu an explanation. So he hovered at the lobby till the wee hours and suddenly a fire was aroused. Xue Hai quickly ran up and tried to rescue Bao Zhu but the fire was too overwhelming and throughout the rescue a large plank fell from a high level and hit it right into Xue Hai's head and then landed on his leg. It was too heavy and could not be shifted away.

He selflessly told Bao Zhu to leave and escape without him. Bao Zhu said that Xue Hai was silly because he was doing it all out of love. So, with the aid of Bao Zhu's senior, Yan Feng, he rescued her from the fire and Xuehai was still trapped until the fire brigade and paramedics arrive. At the hospital, the doctors told Xue Hai's kins that he had was hit right into his skull by a large object in the fire causing him to lose his memory and now in a coma. Bao Zhu then realised that Xue Hai is the one true love that she ought to seek for...



Episode 13: After the fire, Xue Hai subconsciously only remembers memories of Da Lang. He also forgot about the die hard relationship he had with Bao Zhu. Bao Zhu tries all means and ways to let Xue Hai regain his memory. But her attempts all failed on her until one fine day, he got kidnapped, attacked by a hard rock and almost falling off a cliff. He was sent to the hospital and has regained his memory. He remembers every single thing that happened. He remembers everyone, even Bao Zhu. But he put up a false front and pretended that he doesn't recognise her. Causing Bao Zhu to be very upset... Next episode is to die for!!!!




Episode 14: Finale on 31 January 2010. You know it! *Wedding bells ring*
