Appreciation

When one offers him/herself as a sacrifice to a family. Can any kind soul out there tell me what is appreciation all about? I always believed that it was never easy to let a scar heal in such a short time. Words, actions and thoughts all linked as one, only allowing others to point fingers and condemn. How is it? What kind of methods, most appropriate to settle these extremely terrible debts. What is family? Service? Love? Concern? I'm confused. There is nothing left to say. Utterly speechless.
