Beats down the surface excitement

Some really unforgettable lines I heard and said during work.

These were my standard lines:

"Hi Sir, would you like to take a look at the external hard drive or the portable hard drive?"

I attempted to cut short my line, (Passed a brochure) "Hi Ma'am, take a look."

I was talking to one of my fellow colleague. Suddenly an Indian man came to his booth and asked about his company's gadget. That Indian man asked if the gadget was portable. My cheeky colleague answered with an Indian accent,

"Yes sir, it is por-ta-ble."

That Indian man got a bit annoyed and asked my colleague if he was making fun of his accent. It was so freaking funny! If you get what I'm saying, then that's good. If not, try to visualise this really hilarious scenario.

I got to know some new friends, mostly males. The booth that I was assigned to had mostly guys and only a few girls whom I didn't had a chat at all except for one or two. All I can say is, boys are just boys. Most of them are still so immature and ungentlemanly. Oh well, they'll grow up someday, hopefully. (Laughs) These friends are definitely a fun bunch!

What a wordy post. Aite, I'm off to more videos and I'll sleep the whole day tomorrow and restore my lost energy during these four days.

Self-reflection: Work is tough, it is not easy earning your own money. It takes a lot of time, effort and saliva to talk, explain and sell the products. I feel that rejections by customers in sales are just more than perfectly normal. Still, it is fun and a good experience for a first-timer working in the society like me.

GoOoOoOoOoOodbye!

p/s: To my lovely gals, you all know who you are. Meet up soon kay?

Autumn's Concerto

I'm currently watching Autumn's Concerto. The first Taiwanese drama that made me cry till I had mild sore eyes... Well, I seldom tear while watching dramas, but everyone has emotions, yes? I do still tear when some plots are really sad and emotional. *Giggles*

This little boy is really cute and he acts really well. He brings life to the whole drama with his child-like innocence. Really adorable! Autumn's Concerto is a drama to die for! If you have been looking for a good drama in the longest time... Trust me, this drama will certainly/surely/definitely/undoubtedly/absolutely be more than suitable!

Till then, more drama for now!

Rhythm of the pouring rain

Here's the toy poodle I was talking about yesterday.
KAWAII TO THE MAX!!!!

Screw xxxxx Hotel and their lousy service. Never experienced such rejections in my life before. Talk about reality, how real, indeed!

Nevertheless, my Saturday was spent with Glenda at the salon. Spent the whole afternoon with her, even though it was a long wait, but I thought it was worth it because it was a great company! The toy poodle last night was soooooooooo adorable/kawaii/cute!!! I want to get one, some day. JUST SOME DAY, A SIMILAR ONE.

Gdbye!

Wow fantastico feeeeeling

If...

'If' is a strong word, more like a word that is quite impossible to fulfil.
I don't know if what I'm typing makes sense,
but I'll just type what speaks my heart.

- If, we weren't late, we could have...
- If I didn't give up so easily, it wouldn't turn out...
- If, I listened to her advice, situations could have...

How true.

Supposed to have gone for a training at a hotel in Town with my homies - Cats, Seed, SJL, EW and Dav earlier, but the supposed plans did not rundown smoothly. So we went to cafes, restaurants and apparel stores instead to look for suitable jobs. I was not really in need of a job, but I still tagged along.

Hopefully the hard work of walking down Orchard road on a Saturday afternoon can be paid off well. Btw, since I've missed the training this morning, I'll go next week instead. Thankfully there is training every week!

I SHALL NOT BE LATE, I SHALL BE PUNCTUAL LIKE NEVER BEFORE. MARK MY WORDSSSSSSSSS!

p/s: Off to Kuala Lumpur & Genting Highlands tomorrow with my family! (My dad is less angry now, yay!)

Doubtful anxious afraid

Friday, the thirteenth, curses day.
  • Minor car accident - Car bumper damaged, unsure of how to find the perfect solution.
  • When my dad heard of it, he was extremely angry. He became rather sarcastic in his usage of words........
  • How to ask my dad for permission to go on a sponsored cruise?
  • Will my dad allow me to learn kayaking? Will he pay the fees?
  • Can my family still go on a holiday this weekend after this unfortunate event that happened?
  • Too many things in my head, I can't even think properly. Uneasy feeling, how many would understand?

Damn it! Screw this crap upside down!

Sing along song

CORALINE IS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE!

I love the plot even though I was tad clueless for some parts. When the sound effect got louder, Glenda, Amirah, Clara and I were screaming a little bit and started laughing as softly as we could to prevent other viewers from staring at us after the movie. Thank you, Clara for this movie recommendation. Last minute meet ups are always so natural and I love it!

p/s: Was telling the girls just now, "I bet Ris Low is very happy now because everyone is using her words like, boomz and shingz." -- Popuplar ah you, Ris Low, continue to boomz the world!

"Boomz for good, Shingz for bad."

Leopard prince for you?

Beige blondie goldilocks

More than stunning, yes?

If only every girl has their very own "born-with-it-personalised" lashes of various colours and designs.
With such lashes, walking down the streets, it'd definitely be a very beautiful piece of art.

Sixth November

Love that does not slumber

Totally agree with Clatjw that ANTM Cycle 13 is just plain good. Who says only tall models take the centre stage? Petite models are beautiful, too! Maybe Cycle 13's Jennifer can be the first Asian to win the title. Who knows? Cats, continue watching! Very addictive!

Pictures that store memories

MISTER RUSH

Before you know it, we're now already in the month of November! Many things has happened and its so tough to put everything into proper word sentences. I feel that everything that has happened feels so surreal. Conclusion is that, we're all living in a realistic world. Time really passes very quickly. I used to like time passing fast, but now I hope it slows down a bit. Very true, one can never buy back the time that has lost. No point regretting now, move on!

P/S: All sources grabbed from Wikipedia.com

"On October 29th, 2009, Copeland released an official statement that after a farewell tour in the spring, they would be ending Copeland. They made it clear that it was not a bitter break up, they had just run their course as Copeland. They did say that there could possibly be one last studio album, but the spring tour would be their last."
